VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FORM

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Chatham-Kent and Lambton Children's Water Festival. The event could not happen without the support of groups and individuals like yourselves.

The coordination of an event such as this requires volunteers in many different capacities. We will try and match your interests with a volunteer activity. Please review the list below and check off where you would like to volunteer as well as the time you can be available.

We will be holding training sessions for volunteers prior to the event for those interested in helping with the actual festival. You will be contacted with details of scheduling, training , and festival updates.

Training Materials will be distributed prior to the Festival with a brief training session the morning of the event.

Volunteers Needed	Time Required	Description
Activity Demonstrators	Oct 4 Oct 5 Oct 6 8:30am - 2:30pm	Volunteers with an interest in water conservation will help children to understand various aspects of water conservation and protection through interaction and discussion.
Set Up	Oct 2 (all day)	Volunteers will unload activity centre materials and equipment from storage units, set up tents and fencing.
Construction of Activity Centres	June - September	Volunteers will construct and design a variety of interactive centres. Skills in carpentry, plumbing, engineering, ect would be an asset.
Festival Assistants	Oct 4 Oct 5 Oct 6	Volunteers are required to assist with registration, supervision, greeting, and directing busses, gate control and lunch time assistance.
Volunteer training	Month of Sept	Volunteers will assist in providing training sessions to groups of volunteers prior to the Water Festival
