Lather Up

Overview

How much water do we use for a 5 minute shower What if we didn't have showers or even piped water Students compare pioneer bathing methods to modern methods. How do we take water for granted now that we have it readily available in our homes What would pioneer children think of our running water What can we do to save water when having a shower Students wearing raincoats enter 2 separate model showers. One has a regular show head and the other has a low flow shower head. They then take 5 minute “showers” using buckets to see the difference when a simple technological water-saving device is employed.
